Windy run

Met with the running crew(Jake, Connor, Ian, and I) at 8am with some generic 5hr energy in hand. Swigged it down and head down the OKC marathon Course.  Took about a mile in to start feeling like a runner, it was about 39 deg out if I had to guess.

The Plan was to run 18 with the last 4-5 miles at Marathon pace or better and the other miles were to be moderate to hard.

All was going pretty well about the first 10 miles...then we turned into what i would guess to be a cold 15-20 mph SE wind.. some how i did manage to get 4 miles marathon pace or better and averaged over with my next lowest mile split i would have managed to do the workout.

Average 6:25 pace for the whole 19 miles. Giving serious consideration to go back out this evening and getting a little over 3 more just to even up my weekly miles to 90.... Good week of running. Buddy Jake ran a record high 140 to top the day out. He's gettin fit and I look to see him do some real good racing soon.

Connors girlfriend whooped us up some biscuits and SOS gravy that was good stuff.
