Man oh man it's hard to know where to start with this report. I have so much to cover.

I started out waking up about 1a.m. with jitters. I was so excited to be there and was ready to go. I knew that I should lay in bed and at least try to sleep rather than getting up so that is what I did and finally got up at 4:30 and knocked down my shower and put some body glide on my feet and what not. Put my racing suit on and when down for some starbucks. The line at starbuck was long so i remembered they had a dunkin donut shop in the mall so i when to investigate the line there and learned that the mall wasn't open...so i went back to starbucks and got  my coffee and oatmeal and bought a banana and blueberry muffin for the bus ride to Hopkinton.

The plan was to meet some fellow Oklahoma runners at the Westin Lobby and walk up to the bus loading area together. On my way over to the Westin Hotel I walked by the finish line and snapped a few shots of the finish line while it was quiet and no one was really around.

I will have to come back and post more on this later..overall i pr'd but wasn't real happy with my time due to how far off it was from the level i trained. I felt like i let a really good day get away without putting in an effort that i am capable of running. Haven't put my finger on specifically what happened. I think the Hills took a toll on me.Race

I was thankful to have finished without me or my party being harmed  and offer prayers to the families of those who were affected. This was so horrible.
